one year!

i made the one year mark.  i'm almost done!!  i enjoyed the entire journey, yet i wouldn't ever want to do it again. 

i am almost fully white now, with about 1" - 1-1/2" of dyed blonde/brown ends.  jenny has layered my entire head and cut me just below chin length.   i like the length although i will admit i miss the long hair. 

i've changed my make up after haunting blogs and pinterest and the going gray facebook pages.  i've even purchased a berry colored lip stain - and i never wear lipstick - i'm a burts bees chapstick kind of girl.

i try to wear colorful earrings... or a scarf around my neck because i am feeling a bit washed out.  not enough to make me want to color my hair, but enough to make me feel less attractive. 

i feel 'beige'.

i know you understand that.  i know you do.

so i'll keep my eyes open and see what's out there.  perhaps one day i'll give up the contacts and get some amazeball glasses frames.
